What do we value most in a club ? Coaching? Cost ? Location (distance) , recruitability ? Number of athletes on a team?

Thoughts ? Word in proverbial street is that UIL will be voting to adopt 2 state champions per classification based on enrollment .. D1 for Larger schools and D2 for smaller schools. For those unfamiliar.. top 4 teams make the playoffs , enrollments will take two larger into D1 and 2 Smaller in D2. Thoughts ? This will also eliminate a round of the playoffs and all rounds including State semi-finals will be at neutral site. ONLY State Championship matches to played at the state tourney…..

NCAA decided on no more doubles unless it results in attacking the ball over the net. Thoughts ? Takes away skill or better for the game?

Starting to see many "social media" influencers taking videos, pictures of players in both High School and Club. Who's paying them? Who's making money off these images? Are the players who's videos and pics being used being compensated?

2024 USAV Junior National next year will now end July 11! Where is the regard for time and rest of the players? When is enough going to be enough ? This has to stop!

When will USAV volleyball look up and realize we need to make adjustment to USAVJN's? Most Regional tournaments are done by 2nd week of May, why do Nationals have to wait until June 14th to begin? Move it up, start beginning of June, be done by June 23rd. Kids and Coaches can have July away from Clubs!

What are some of the very best college camps you have experienced ? What made them stand out above the rest?

Was just doing some thinking and got into a conversation regarding the gap and length of time between regionals and the start of nationals? Why don't we take a 2-3 week break then have Nationals? It would give kids a bit of a summer/ rest/ break! Thoughts?
